This 42U SmartRack® cabinet is designed for network wiring closets, retail locations, classrooms, back offices and other areas with essential rack-mount IT equipment. This allows for high-density equipment installations, extra room for cable management and space for removing hot-swap power supplies from the rear of installed devices. Made from heavy-duty steel with a durable black powder-coated finish, the SR42UBDP48 has a maximum stationary load capacity of 1361 kg [3000 lb] and a maximum rolling load capacity of 1020 kg [2250 lb].

Keeps Important Equipment Secure and Easily Accessible
The reversible front door, split rear doors and half-size side panels lock securely to help prevent damage, tampering or theft. The doors, side panels and top panel are designed for quick release, making it easy to access connected equipment and cabling with minimal effort. Convenient top ports and an open bottom allow for easy cable routing through the cabinet. Vented doors permit generous airflow from front to rear to keep your equipment cool and performing at its best.

Easy Cabinet and Equipment Installation
This 42U server rack ships fully assembled for quick and easy deployment with pre-installed casters that let you maneuver it over a level, smooth, stable surface and through a standard 2.13 m [7 ft.] doorway to its permanent location, where it can be stabilized by adjusting the levelers. Four mounting rails adjust in 1/4” increments from 10 to 107 cm [4” to 42”]. Two rails support toolless 0U installation for quick mounting of up to four compatible PDUs and vertical cable managers to help reduce clutter.

Designed for Connecting Multiple Cabinets in a Row
Built-in baying brackets and removable side panels allow for combining two or more rack cabinets in a row. The center-to-center width can be set at 610 mm [24"] to match standard data center floor tiles.
