The HPE NS204i-p NVMe OS Boot Device is a self-contained boot solution on a simple, pre-configured PCIe card that requires no user setup or GUI. This plug-and-play OS boot device includes two 480 GB M.2 SSDs, allowing users to mirror the OS via hardware RAID 1.

Need to simplify data segregation? HPE Boot Device Options offer business customers resilient, turnkey solutions that simply separate the OS from the data storage plane in popular virtualized environment operating systems: VMware, Linux, and Windows. The NS204i is presented to the management interface as a directly connected NVMe drive, not as a RAID controller. Since the NS204i is a hardware boot device, it only supports RAID 1 mode and will not function in any other mode. The NS204i is plug and play, so there's no need to configure or manage the device. Ensure you are running the latest version of HPE iLO and update the server BIOS, firmware, and drivers whenever possible.
