Características del producto
Extend the reach of a PoE connection! The INTELLINET Gigabit High-Power PoE+ One-Port Repeater Extender, model 560962, is designed to extend connection distances from a PoE source to a device by up to an additional 100 m over Cat5e or Cat6 cable. You can cover even longer distances by cascading these extenders on the network. The PoE+ extender does not need an additional power source as it draws the power it needs from the same PoE input. Simple Installation. Simply connect the "PoE In" port to your PoE injector or switch, and connect the "PoE Out" port to the PoE device you want to connect; for example, a VoIP phone or a PoE network camera.

Simple Installation
Simply connect the "PoE In" port to your PoE injector or switch, and connect the "PoE Out" port to the PoE device you want to connect; for example, a VoIP phone or a PoE network camera. That's all. There is nothing to configure. It just couldn't be easier.
Reduce cabling costs
There's no need to run electrical power lines for your wireless access point, network camera or IP phone. Simply connect the PoE Extender to the LAN switch port and use existing Cat5e or Cat6 cabling to deliver electrical power, as well as data transfer.
802.3at Power over Ethernet compatible
The INTELLINET Gigabit High-Power PoE+ One-Port Repeater Extender supports the IEEE 802.3at protocol and is designed to forward data at Gigabit speeds and up to 30 watts of power input to an IEEE 802.3af or IEEE 802.3at compatible device. The cable length at both ends can be up to 100 meters, providing a total distance of up to 200 m.
Cascaded power
You can daisy-chain multiple PoE extenders to further increase the transmission distance. For each PoE extender added, about 4 watts of power used by the device is lost, but if you start with a PoE injector that provides 30 watts of IEEE 802.3 power - for example, the Intellinet PoE injector (model 560566) - then you will still have 8.6 watts for your PoE device, after 5 PoE extenders and at 600 meters distance.
