This drive supports writing to CD-R, CD-RW, DVD+R/RW, and DVD -R/RW media through software utilities. For Microsoft Operating Systems, it is available with the included Roxio software disk installation. For other Operating Systems, the Operating System specific software utility is required to write to the media.
