Kingston's IronKey™ 1000 complies with the strictest standards, making it the most advanced security drive. It protects 100% of sensitive data with 256-bit hardware-based AES encryption, in XTS mode, and FIPS 140-2 Level 3 validation, with Cryptochip encryption key management on the device. The drive detects and responds to physical intrusions, enabling automatic data protection once the drive is removed. For added peace of mind, the drive uses digitally signed firmware, making it immune to BadUSB. The S1000 supports two types of secret phrases: a complex password, or a secret phrase up to 255 characters long. After ten invalid password attempts, the drive will lock, with options for reformatting or destruction.

Basic Model
Available in capacities from 4 GB to 128 GB*, the S1000 Basic model achieves USB 3.0** speeds and features enhanced hardware-based protection. Compatible with the toughest military-grade strength and durability standards, the drive is built with an anodized aluminum housing and an epoxy-filled casing. Dust and shock resistant, the S1000 is waterproof and MIL-STD-810F compliant.

Enterprise Model
In addition to sharing the features of the Basic model, the Enterprise version of the S1000 allows for centralized management of access and use of thousands of IronKey drives through an intuitive, easy-to-use secure online interface*. Through an activatable SafeConsole Management service license, the drive works with cloud-based or on-premise servers to remotely implement access and password policies, allowing users to recover lost passwords and administrators to adapt drives that are no longer in use.
