Gives You Time to Back Up Critical Files During a Blackout
Battery backup allows you to work through brief power failures and gives you enough time to save files and safely shut down your system in case of a prolonged blackout. Backup time varies depending on the load, but the INTERNET600U will keep an energy-efficient desktop computer with a small LCD monitor powered for up to 16 minutes. During normal operation, incoming utility power keeps the internal replaceable battery fully charged so backup power is always available.

10 NEMA 5-15R Outlets Protect Your Connected Components
Five 5-15R outlets provide battery backup and surge protection for your computer, monitor and other crucial components. The other five 5-15R outlets provide surge suppression only for printers, scanners, speakers and other desktop equipment considered non-essential during a power outage. A high >98% line mode efficiency rating reduces BTU emissions, energy consumption and, ultimately, energy costs.

316 Joules Combat Unexpected Surges
A 316-joule surge suppression rating protects connected components from the damaging effects of surges. Dual network data line surge suppression jacks protect one wired peripheral from dangerous surges on a single 10/100 Base-T network or dial-up connection.

HID-Compliant USB Port Enables Automatic Save and Shutdown
This USB port connects the INTERNET600U to a computer running Tripp Lite’s free downloadable PowerAlert® software to enable safe unattended system shutdown and file saves in case of a prolonged power failure. A USB cable is included. Battery-independent restart ensures automatic UPS startup without user intervention after prolonged power outages, even with expired batteries that need to be replaced.

Various electromagnetic and radio sources found in virtually every home and business can cause disruptive AC line interference. Known as EMI (electromagnetic interference) and RFI (radio frequency interference), this line noise is a common cause of cumulative hardware damage, data corruption and audio/video performance problems.
