Tripp Lite's OMNI650LCD Digital, interactive UPS system offers voltage regulation, surge suppression, and long-lasting battery backup for personal computers, home entertainment systems, and media centers. The internal UPS circuits support up to 40 minutes of operation for entry-level personal computers or 2 hours of operation for individual VCR/DVR components during power outages. It prevents data loss, interruptions while viewing, loss of recordings, and component programming. Automatic voltage regulation circuits regulate voltage drops of up to 89V to usable levels without consuming battery power. It offers complete power protection in an attractive black tower configuration. It includes 4 battery-supported/surge-protected outlets and 4 additional surge-only suppression outlets for devices that do not require battery backup. The USB port allows optional unattended system shutdown, with no data loss in case of prolonged power outages. PowerAlert Software can be downloaded for free. The HID-compliant USB interface allows integration with Windows and Mac OS X's built-in power management and automatic shutdown features. The built-in audible alarm and large front panel LCD display for voltage indicate line power status, battery status, low battery/battery replacement, and voltage boost operation.
