Provides Time to Back Up Critical Files During a Blackout
Battery backup allows you to work through brief power failures and gives you time to save files and shut down your system in case of a prolonged blackout. Backup time varies by load, but this interactive UPS system can keep an energy-efficient desktop computer with a small LCD monitor powered for up to 88 minutes. During normal operation, incoming utility power keeps the internal replaceable battery fully charged so backup power is always available.

Connect Your Equipment to 8 NEMA 5-15R Protected Outlets
Six battery-protected and surge-protected outlets provide battery backup and surge suppression for your computer, monitor and other critical equipment. Two additional surge-protected outlets provide surge suppression for peripherals that do not require battery backup, such as printers and speakers. A high efficiency rating in line mode >95% reduces BTU emissions, power consumption and ultimately, energy costs.

Automatic Voltage Regulation [AVR] Corrects High and Low Voltage Conditions
AVR protects your equipment from cumulative hardware damage, data loss and performance problems caused by brownouts and overvoltages. The OMNIVS1200LCD corrects brownouts as low as 89V and overvoltages as high as 145V and continuously returns to 120V nominal power, while keeping the battery fully charged.

Surge Suppression Protects AC and Tel / DSL / Ethernet Lines
Rated at 316 Joules, this UPS system protects equipment connected to outlets and RJ45 jacks (1 input / 1 output) from the damaging effects of surges that can occur on AC lines and telephone or network lines. RJ45 connectors are not compatible with PoE applications.

Combats Line Noise That Can Damage Equipment
EMI (electromagnetic interference) and RFI (radio frequency interference) are common causes of performance problems and can lead to cumulative hardware damage, data corruption and audio/video transmission interruptions. The OMNIVS1200LCD filters disruptive AC line noise to protect your equipment.

Easy-to-Read LCD Touchscreen Reports Real-Time UPS and Power Status
The LCD touchscreen offers 5 screens of UPS and site power information when the UPS is operating in online or battery power mode. It displays vital voltage, load and battery data, as well as critical fault status. An audible alarm indicates low battery condition, excessive load or fault.

HID-Compliant USB Port Allows Unattended Proper Shutdowns
The USB port connects the OMNIVS1200LCD to a computer running Tripp Lite's free downloadable PowerAlert® software, allowing for proper system shutdown during a prolonged power failure. A USB cable is included. This HID-compliant UPS also works with the built-in power management functions of Windows, Mac and Linux operating systems.

Tower Form Factor is Easy to Place in Your Workspace or Media Center
The compact ABS enclosure fits easily on a desk, shelf or other convenient location for your workstation or home theater. The UPS has a 1.52 m [5 ft.] cord with a NEMA 5-15P plug for connection to a standard outlet. A fan regulates internal temperature to help prevent overheating.
