The OMNI SMART 500 - Tripp Lite's interactive UPS system, offers voltage regulation, surge suppression and durable battery support for personal computers, Internet equipment and other sensitive electronic devices. It supports entry-level PC systems for up to 30 minutes during power outages so that connected equipment can be shut down without data loss. Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) circuits regulate voltage sags down to 75 volts and overvoltages up to 147 to normal 120V levels without consuming battery power. It offers complete desktop power protection in an attractive black vertical tower configuration. It includes 3 battery-supported outlets for the computer, monitor and a vital system peripheral, plus 3 additional outlets for surge suppression only, for printers and other accessories that do not require battery support. The USB port allows for optional unattended system shutdown without data loss in the event of prolonged power outages. USB cable included. PowerAlert software available for download. The HID-compliant USB port also allows integration with the built-in power management and automatic shutdown features of Windows and MAC OS X. Built-in data line protection plugs offer single telephone/DSL line protection. Built-in audible alarm and 4 front panel LEDs indicate line power status, battery power status, low battery/replace status, and overload status. 500 VA / 300 Watts power handling capacity supports entry-level PCs, network workstations, point-of-sale equipment, small business telephone systems, audio/video equipment and home theater systems. It provides battery operation for 4 minutes at a full load of 500VA / 300 Watts and 14.6 minutes at a half load of 250VA / 150 Watts. The battery can be replaced via the built-in access panel.
