The OMNI1500LCDT uninterruptible power supply (UPS) from Tripp Lite provides voltage regulation, surge suppression and long-lasting battery support for personal computers, network workstations, home entertainment systems and media centers. The UPS's internal circuits support the operation of entry-level personal computers or individual VCR/DVR components during power outages. It prevents data loss, interruptions while viewing, and loss of recordings and component programming. Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) circuits continuously regulate brownouts and overvoltages from 92V to 150V to usable levels, all while maintaining full battery charge. It offers complete power protection in an attractive black cabinet design. It includes 10 built-in outlets, 5 with battery backup and surge suppression for vital system components and another 5 with surge suppression only for accessories that do not require battery backup. The included USB port and cable allow for optional unattended system shutdown, with no data loss in the event of prolonged power outages. PowerAlert software is available for free download. The HID-compliant USB interface also allows integration with built-in Windows and Mac OS X power management and automatic shutdown features. Integrated data line suppression plugs protect equipment with a single dial-up, DSL or Ethernet network connection. The built-in audible alarm and large front-panel LCD display provide easy-to-read icon-based status indicators and detailed numerical data covering input voltage, output voltage, frequency, load percentage, load watts, battery voltage and runtime in minutes. The 1500VA / 810W power handling capacity supports entry-level PCs, home entertainment systems, network workstations and audio/video components.
